The Simpsons

Homer at the BatMost of you will have watched some episodes of the Simpsons in Geography at some point, some episodes are great for introducing places or themes. Here is a list of episodes with a geographical theme that are worth watching out for. I was going to copy the list in but it will make the post too long so here is the link to the list of episodes, thanks to Alan Parkinson of Geography Pages where the list is. http://www.geographypages.co.uk/simpsons.htm

If you want to watch any of the videos then most of them can be found at http://www.peekvid.com/feature/cartoons/1195/The-Simpsons.html though you will need a broadband internet connection to watch them. If you can’t access one and would really like to then see me and I will see what I can do. (of course its always worth checking out the baseball episodes and booing Roger Clemens when he appears and Don Mattingly (sorry I just can’t help myself) that particular gem is called Homer at the Bat)
