Year 8s homework this week is based around using the National Statistics website.  Open the site and in the ‘Find statistics for any area’ section put your postcode.  This will bring up statistics for Erewash as a district.  You should scroll down and select ‘Crime and Safety.’  You should get a page up with 6 links on.  Using these links fill in the sheet you were given with the relavent statistics for Erewash, the East Midlands and England.   You could also choose another postcode outside of Erewash to compare with.

Once you have completed the worksheet you should write about 200 words to describe the level of risk in your local area.
