I’ve started a page on the floods that Britian has been seeing, intially this was going to be for the June floods, but now this weekends as well.

As some of you may know I was heading to South Wales for my cousins wedding, something I’ve had in my diary for 2 years now. Well I’m still in Ilkeston, at 11pm last night (having left school at 4pm) we were somewhere between Droitwich and Bromsgrove on the M5 and decided to give up, the M5 had been closed South of us, the M50 which we were going to use to get in Wales was closed with cars stuck on it, and most of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire were still flooded. I’d already tried two different ways through Birmingham only to be met with flooded roads and had to turn back. So at abuot midnight we made it back to Derby very tired and very depressed, but compared to alot of other people we got off very lightly.
