In June of 2007 the lots of different areas were affected by flooding, you can see these areas on the front page of the Independent, as well as some pictures taken from the Ilkeston Advertiser showing some of the flooding around Ilkeston. Click on the pictures to see the full size image.
Even Bennerley was affected by the flooding, as we saw the library closed for a while as outside of E block flooded.
